The black sand beach at Jokulsarlon at sunset, just as a waxy moon has appeared. The beach is covered in mini icebergs which have flowed from the Jokulsarlon Lagoon after calving off the Vatnajokull Glacier, gone some way out to sea and been swept back onto the beach by the force of the waves and tide, like stranded whales. Image taken on a Leica M240 camera.
